LEBANON (Enmaeya News) - November 11, 2025

Wildfires have reignited in the Jezzine area, causing extensive damage to pine trees. Civil Defense units, supported by the Lebanese Army, have been working to contain the flames.

The fires are currently spreading toward the forests of Bkassine and Aaray, while army helicopters continue their operations to limit their expansion.

Earlier, Civil Defense teams managed to extinguish two separate fires in the region — one in Anan, which destroyed areas of tents and agricultural vegetation, and another around Hmossiyeh, where several pine trees were affected. They also put out fires that erupted in the Iqlim al-Kharroub area, which had spread rapidly due to strong winds.

Meanwhile, the fires that broke out yesterday in Jarmaq and Al-Aishiyeh — triggered by Israeli airstrikes — have largely subsided. However, blazes persist in the areas of Al-Rihan and Aramta, where difficult terrain continues to hinder firefighting efforts.
