High-Cost Vaccine… Will Be Offered For Free by the Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health is offering the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine free of charge to prevent cervical cancer, despite its high market price.

Minister of Health Rakan Nassereddine stated, "The Ministry will provide the HPV vaccine as part of the vaccines offered free of charge, even though the price of this vaccine is high, ranging between $400 and $500 USD".
This move comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to prevent cervical cancer and promote public health.
