Erosion in Northern Lebanon
LEBANON – Teams from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport promptly began on-site operations to address the erosion that occurred on the Palma Bridge highway in northern Lebanon, immediately after the incident was reported.
In a statement, the Ministry announced that specialized teams are working to manage the erosion, remove debris from the roadway, and coordinate with the relevant authorities, while taking the necessary precautionary measures to safeguard public safety.
The Ministry confirmed that it is closely monitoring the erosion on the ground, emphasizing its commitment to rapid intervention to address any emergency that may affect citizens’ safety and the smooth flow of traffic, particularly on key arterial roads.
