LEBANON - Lebanon’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded a marginal monthly decline of 0.08 percent in January 2026 compared to December 2025, according to official data.

On an annual basis, inflation reached 10.91 percent in January 2026 compared to January 2025, reflecting continued price changes over the past year.

Regional data showed mixed monthly trends across Lebanon’s governorates. 

Beirut recorded a decrease of 0.17 percent, while Mount Lebanon saw a slight drop of 0.03 percent.

In contrast, the North posted a rise of 0.05 percent, and the South increased by 0.08 percent. Prices in the Bekaa declined by 0.50 percent, whereas Nabatieh registered a decrease of 0.36 percent.
