LEBANON - Amid the dangerous security conditions affecting the Marjayoun area, particularly the frontline villages near the border, reaching hospitals and healthcare centers has become extremely challenging.

The Ministry of Social Affairs continues to operate its mobile clinic program to provide healthcare services to residents who remain in the affected villages.

Working alongside the International Committee of the Red Cross, the ministry's medical team provides check-ups, monitors basic health conditions, and distributes the medications available in the mobile clinic. Their work particularly focuses on elderly people and patients who are unable to travel outside their villages.

Despite the significant risks and operational difficulties associated with travelling between villages, the medical team remains committed to carrying out its humanitarian work.

Residents say the mobile clinic has become an essential source of medical support under the current circumstances, especially given the shortage of healthcare services and resources in their villages.
