LEBANON – The Qatar Development Fund announced an urgent humanitarian response aimed at supporting families affected in Lebanon, amid the severe military escalation and the large wave of displacement across the country.

In cooperation with its partners, Qatar Charity and the Qatar Red Crescent, the fund will carry out a relief intervention targeting more than 40,500 displaced families.

The aid will include:

• Distribution of over 12,000 food baskets.

• Provision of essential non-food items (blankets, mattresses, hygiene kits, and diapers).

• Supplying necessary household items and personal hygiene kits.

This step is part of Qatar’s ongoing commitment to stand by the Lebanese people and meet the urgent needs of families forced to flee due to the current situation.
