Lebanon Reports Over 129,000 Displaced Amid Ongoing Escalation
The latest figures released by Lebanese authorities highlight the growing humanitarian impact of the ongoing escalation, with displacement and casualty numbers continuing to rise across the country.

LEBANON - The Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Grand Serail released its latest daily report on the current situation on May 21, 2026, outlining the ongoing humanitarian impact across Lebanon.
According to the report, 635 shelters have been opened to accommodate displaced civilians. The total number of displaced persons currently hosted in these shelters has reached 129,724, including 33,901 displaced families.
The report also documented 16,434 hostile incidents since the beginning of the escalation.
As for the human toll, the cumulative figures recorded until yesterday evening indicate that 3,089 people have been killed and 9,397 others injured.
