Guterres Calls for International Cooperation Ahead of UN General Assembly

NEW YORK – United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres called on world leaders to strengthen international cooperation and work towards peace, dignity, justice and humanity, as the United Nations General Assembly convenes this week.
In a post on X, Guterres noted that leaders from around the world will gather in the General Assembly Hall, urging them to “come together for peace, for dignity, for justice, and for humanity.”
He stressed that building a better world requires international cooperation, calling for continued efforts towards this goal and urging leaders not to give up on the pursuit of it.
