The Groundwater Youth Network (GWYN)
Description

The Groundwater Youth Network (GWYN), with the support of UNESCO, is opening a call to nominate and sponsor one youth representative from the Mediterranean region to participate in the upcoming Annual Stocktaking Meeting (ASM) under the MedProgramme activities.

The meeting will take place in Tunis from 23 to 25 June 2026, bringing together stakeholders engaged in regional cooperation, water management, and sustainable development across the Mediterranean.

The opportunity is especially open to GWYN members from countries linked to MedProgramme activities: Albania, Montenegro, Libya, Lebanon, Morocco, and Tunisia.

This call is ideal for young researchers, professionals, students, advocates, or practitioners with experience or strong interest in groundwater, climate resilience, youth mobilization, water cooperation, and sustainable resource management.

Since only one representative will be selected, applicants are encouraged to clearly highlight their relevant expertise, activities, and motivation in the application form.
