UNCTAD Global Supply Chain Forum 2026
Description

To strengthen the resilience, sustainability, and inclusiveness of global transport and logistics systems, UN Trade and Development will convene the second UNCTAD Global Supply Chain Forum from November 29 to December 1, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Held under the theme “Towards Resilient, Sustainable and Inclusive Supply Chains and Trade Logistics in Times of Uncertainty,” the forum will bring together governments, private-sector representatives, international organizations, civil society, academics, and experts to examine the effects of supply-chain disruptions and identify practical policy, investment, and operational responses.

What You Will Gain:

  • Explore practical approaches to preventing, managing, and adapting to supply-chain disruptions

  • Learn about resilient infrastructure, sustainable transport, digitalization, emerging technologies, and trade facilitation

  • Understand how geopolitical fragmentation, climate risks, infrastructure gaps, and changing trade patterns affect global logistics

  • Examine opportunities to strengthen regional connectivity, multimodal transport corridors, and the flow of essential goods

  • Gain insights into investment, policy, regulatory, and public-private cooperation solutions

  • Learn how supply-chain policies can better support least developed, landlocked, and small island developing economies

Who Can Join:

  • Government officials, policymakers, and representatives of UNCTAD member States

  • Private-sector leaders working in transport, ports, shipping, trade, logistics, and infrastructure

  • International and regional organizations and development institutions

  • Non-governmental organizations, academics, researchers, and technical experts

  • Professionals interested in supply-chain resilience, sustainable trade, digital transformation, and development

  • Registration is open through the UN Indico platform, and applicants must create or use an Indico account to submit their registration.

Why Join:

Supply-chain disruptions increasingly affect trade costs, food and energy security, access to essential goods, and the development prospects of vulnerable economies. The forum offers an opportunity to exchange experiences and contribute to coordinated solutions that make international and regional supply chains more resilient, sustainable, digitally connected, and inclusive.
