LEBANON – Based on the daily situation report issued by Lebanon’s Disaster Risk Management Unit on 29 April 2026, the following outlines the latest field and humanitarian conditions:
Human losses (cumulative figures as of last night):
• Fatalities: The total number of people killed has reached 2,534
• Injuries: The number of injuries has risen to 7,863
Displacement and shelters:
• Displaced persons in shelters: 117,126 displaced individuals are currently registered in collective shelters.
• Displaced families: An estimated 30,723 families are hosted in these shelters.
• Shelters: A total of 623 shelters have been opened to accommodate displaced persons.
Hostilities:
• The report recorded 10,248 hostile incidents to date.
